This is a great opportunity to enjoy the desert and bring along family from out of town and see what makes Arrowhead Ranch so special.

Coach Whip/Ridgeline/Chuckwalla Loop - Thunderbird Conservation Park
This hike will be a great opportunity to get out after the Thanksgiving Holiday. Burn off some of those excess calories, and maybe get your out of town visitors onto the trail!!
Hike Details:
Saturday, November 29th, 2025 8am start
Loop which includes portions of the Coach Whip/Ridgeline/Chuckwalla trails (click for All Trails info)
1.6 miles, can be longer by adding a different route back to parking lot, or heading to the peak.
260 feet of elevation gain
Loop trail
Approximately 1 hours long
This trail is rated MODERATE on the difficulty scale.
Meet at the parking lot off of 67th Ave & Patrick Lane (map)
There are NOT restrooms at this location
Bring plenty of water, wear appropriate clothing & shoes
